Dr. Stella Arbitman
Stella graduated from Medical School at the University
of Toronto in 1992. She completed her Family Practice residency
at Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto in 1994.
She joined our practice in November 1997, after filling in for Dr.
Janet Morse during her maternity leave.
Letter from Dr. Arbitman to her patients on Oct
1, 2011:
I would like to let you know that my family and I had a wonderful
time in the UK this past year filled with lots of travel and adventures.
A couple of months ago, my husband was offered a new position within
the same company in their American office. My family and I have
just moved to Connecticut last month where we will be positioned
for the next 2 years. Our intention is to return to Toronto after
this two year position is completed,, but like much in life, this
cannot be guaranteed.
At this point in time, my patient roster is going to be officially
transferred over to the care of Dr. Robin Rosen, whom I hope most
of you have met by now. As I mentioned in my letter last year when
I left Canada, Dr. Rosen is a trusted friend and colleague and I
am confident that she will be able to attend to your medical needs
with the utmost compassion and expertise.
I wish you all much health and happiness.
Regards,
Stella Arbitman
From the Lead Physician, Dr. Darren Larsen:
With Dr. Arbitman's departure it is your choice as to whether or
not you wish to continue to see Dr. Rosen. Some of you may find
this an opportune time to switch your care to another physician
outside of our practice who may be closer to your home or business.
If this is the case, we will be happy to prepare a CD copy of your
medical records for use by the physician you will be transferring
to. To arrange this, send us a signed letter with your name, address, birthdate
and the name and address of the physician you are changing to, requesting
that your records be transferred. Standard Ontario records transfer
fees will apply. If you wish to stay at Thornhill Village Family
Health Organization under Dr. Rosen's care , you may be asked to sign a
new Ministry of Health enrollment form when you are next in, or
within the year. Unfortunately the other partners in our office
(Drs. Larsen, Morse, Voudouris, Blachowitz and Cheung) have completely
full practices so they will not be able to accomodate a switch to
their care.
Thank you.
